Tool comparisonThe Best AI Blog Writers in 2026, Judged on the Posts They Actually Publish
Eight AI blog writers compared on what reaches your blog: research before writing, checks before publishing, where posts go and what each one really costs, with prices from each vendor's own site.

On this page▸
The best AI blog writers in 2026 research before they write, check posts before they publish and put them somewhere readers can find them. PixelClaw suits a blog it hosts and scores for you; Autoblogging.ai and SEOWriting.ai suit high-volume WordPress posting; Koala suits long-form affiliate posts; Claude suits writers who edit everything themselves.
How we judged the best AI blog writers
A demo paragraph tells you almost nothing about an AI blog writer. Every model writes a fluent paragraph now. What separates the tools is what happens around the writing: whether they read the pages that rank before drafting, whether anything checks a post before it goes live, where the post ends up, and what a finished post really costs.
So those are the four things we compared. PixelClaw is our product, so read its entry with that in mind; we have tried to be as plain about where it falls short as about where it wins. Every other price and feature below was read from the vendor's own website on November 5, 2026. Prices change often, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

1. PixelClaw: best for a blog that is hosted and scored for you
PixelClaw writes the post and runs the blog. Each topic is researched from the pages that rank and the questions readers ask, the outline can be edited before drafting, and every draft gets a hero image with alt text and a score out of 100 across SEO, AEO, AIO, GEO and SXO. Posts under 60 are held back. Autopilot can run the whole chain on a schedule, publishing on its own only at 77 or more.
The blog itself is included on every plan, with sitemap, robots.txt, llms.txt and structured data handled. The free plan includes 50 credits a month, enough for two complete posts; Starter is $49.99 a month with 250 credits and a custom domain; Pro is $99.99 with 1,000 credits and three blogs. Paid plans put no limit on the posts you keep. Your own AI keys make writing free of credits.
Watch out for: it does not post into WordPress, Webflow or Shopify. If your blog has to live there, pick one of the next tools.
2. Autoblogging.ai: best for high volume across many platforms
Autoblogging.ai is a credit-based writer built for volume. Its site lists bulk generation of up to 500 titles per batch on paid plans, 38 languages, a fact checker, AI visibility tracking, and publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost, Medium and several other platforms.
Its pricing starts with 10 free credits a month, then Starter at $19 a month for 40 credits, up to Enterprise at $999 for 5,000, with about 35% off billed yearly. A standard article is one credit, and options such as SERP analysis and AI images add a credit each.
Watch out for: the extras add up per article, so the real per-post price depends on the options you switch on.
3. SEOWriting.ai: best for cheap bulk posts to WordPress
SEOWriting.ai generates SEO articles one at a time or in bulk, and its site says it can auto-post up to 100 articles in a batch to WordPress. It includes SERP research, a content score, brand voices, internal linking, AI images and Amazon affiliate product lists, in 50-plus languages.
Its pricing page lists a free plan with 3 articles, then Starter from $14 a month billed yearly for up to 50 articles, Professional at $59 for up to 250, and larger plans up to 1,000 articles. Advanced AI models use 4 to 10 credits per article instead of one.
Watch out for: the "up to" article counts assume the standard model; stronger models use your allowance faster.
4. Koala: best for long-form affiliate posts
KoalaWriter is aimed at long, data-backed articles, including affiliate posts with live Amazon data. Its site lists real-time factual data, AI images and YouTube embeds, bulk writing, an API and an MCP server, with publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Ghost.
Koala sells words rather than articles. Its pricing starts with a one-time free allowance of 5,000 words, then Starter at $25 a month for 45,000 words, Professional at $49 for 100,000, and higher tiers up to a million words.
Watch out for: premium models count words at two or three times the rate, so long articles on the best model use the allowance quickly.
5. Machined: best for interlinked content clusters
Machined starts from keyword research and builds clusters, then writes researched articles with citations and links them together, with keyword cannibalization prevention built in. It publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, HubSpot, Shopify, Wix and others, in 100-plus languages.
Its pricing runs from Launch at $19 a month for 30 articles to Scale at $249 for 750, with a 7-day free trial and no card. A bring-your-own-keys plan offers 2,000 articles for $99 a month, with your AI provider billed separately.
Watch out for: its site says no refunds once a subscription is charged, so use the trial properly.
6. RightBlogger: best for daily posts on a creator's blog
RightBlogger combines keyword research, AI writing and scheduled auto-publishing with social sharing and a Site Agent that fixes broken links and titles. It publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Framer, Ghost and Wix.
Its plans start with Solo at $59 a month, or $49 billed yearly, for one site and one automated post a day, up to Agency at $299 for ten sites. There is a free account with 2,000 words a month, a 7-day trial on paid plans and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Watch out for: its own FAQ says rankings, traffic and AI-answer inclusion are not guaranteed, which is true of every tool here, and worth remembering at one post a day.
7. Frase: best for research-led SEO and AI visibility
Frase began as a research and brief tool and now covers writing, SEO and GEO scores, AI visibility tracking and a publishing agent. It publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity and Wix.
Its pricing starts at $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 10 articles, with Professional at $129 for 40 and Scale at $299 for 100. There is a 7-day free trial with no card.
Watch out for: per article it is one of the pricier options here, which makes sense if research depth matters more to you than volume.
8. Claude: best for writers who edit everything themselves
A general assistant such as Anthropic's Claude writes natural, careful long drafts and is excellent at editing your own writing. It is not a blog tool: there is no keyword research, no images, no structure checks and no publishing.
Claude's pricing includes a free plan with usage limits, and Pro at $20 a month or $17 billed yearly. ChatGPT Plus and Google AI Pro sit at a similar price.
Watch out for: everything after the draft is yours, so it suits a few posts a month, not a steady blog.
How to choose between these AI blog writers
Start with where your blog lives. If it must stay in WordPress, Shopify or Webflow, choose from Autoblogging.ai, SEOWriting.ai, Koala, Machined, RightBlogger or Frase, depending on volume and budget. If you don't have a blog yet, or would rather not run one, PixelClaw's hosted blog removes that whole layer.
Then decide how much checking you want before posts go live. Tools that publish everything they write are fast but put your domain's reputation in the model's hands. Tools that score or hold weak drafts are slower, and safer. For a deeper walk through the criteria, read how to choose an AI blog writer for SEO, or see how PixelClaw's AI blog writer works step by step.
- Judge AI blog writers on research, checks before publishing and where posts go, not on demo paragraphs.
- PixelClaw is the pick if you want the blog hosted and every post scored, from a free plan.
- Autoblogging.ai and SEOWriting.ai are the cheapest routes to high volume in WordPress.
- Koala and Machined suit long-form and clustered posts published to an existing CMS.
- A chat assistant such as Claude writes well but leaves research, images and publishing to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best AI blog writer for beginners?+
One that handles the parts beginners find hardest: research, structure and publishing. PixelClaw's free plan includes a hosted blog, a score that explains what each post is missing and two full posts, which is a gentle way to start.
Is there a free AI blog writer?+
Several have free tiers, as their own sites stated on November 5, 2026. PixelClaw gives 50 credits a month, enough for two complete posts. Autoblogging.ai gives 10 credits a month. SEOWriting.ai gives 3 articles. Koala gives a one-time 5,000 words.
Which AI blog writer publishes to WordPress?+
Autoblogging.ai, SEOWriting.ai, Koala, Machined, RightBlogger and Frase all list WordPress publishing. PixelClaw does not; it hosts the blog itself, on its own address or your domain.
Do AI blog writers produce content that ranks?+
They can, when posts answer real questions with sources and a sensible pace. The tool matters less than whether it researches first and whether someone checks the facts before publishing.
